About Lindsay Harris
Lindsay Harris, LCSW
Making the decision to start therapy can feel exciting, but it can also be overwhelming to look through multiple therapist’s profiles and try to determine who might be a good fit for you. Things like a sense of humor, warmth, trust and an overall feeling of “I like you” can be just as important as the education, training and clinical skill of the therapist. I hope to be the good fit you are looking for. Although imperfect and very much human in all aspects of my life, I get excited by the chance to hear your story, to sit with your pain, to explore your struggles and to help release your breakthrough.
I am particularly passionate about working with women that are in the thick of motherhood with littles, individuals and couples that are facing infertility, couples that are seeking to maintain connection amid their busy lives that are pulling them apart, LGBTQ folx, those struggling with anxiety, depression or perfectionism, and those who have experienced adoption or donor conception, either via sperm or egg donation.
I use an integrated approach to therapy and tailor interventions to match your needs. I utilize my training in IFS, EFT, Brainspotting and CBT. I would love to help you further explore the various experiences that have created disappointment, anxiety, pain or fear. I want to help you break these things down into tangible pieces of the puzzle so we can carefully put it all back together into your authentic self that you have always longed to be. Every part of you matters and is worthy of this special care and attention.
Please reach out: If you and your partner are longing for more and want to better understand why the same arguments keep happening and why you can’t seem to communicate in a way that you both feel seen and heard. If you are feeling overwhelmed by the intense demands of motherhood and you need a space that is just for you. If you are grieving from all the negative pregnancy tests or failed fertility cycles. If you are exhausted by the anxiety or perfectionism that is ruling your life. I would be honored to walk alongside you as a source of guidance and support.
When I’m not in my therapy chair, I enjoy spending time outside with my wife and our two children, cooking and baking new recipes and riding my Peloton bike.
